I know this is late, but I could not keep this to myself for long. MTV 2009 Awards sucked. It sucked so much that after an hour, I had to switch over to The Ellen’s show ( thats the worse thing that can happen to ANY show on television ). I’d rather see overly obese ladies win free toasters, if you know what I mean.
What was with Zac Efron’s hair? Did he come to the Awards night after having a helicopter landing crisis or something? The worst part was Twilight wining almost all the awards in every category. ( People chose Twilight over The Dark Knight! ) I know that the results are based on people’s votes, but this! Looks like everyone voted for Kirsten Stewart (yes yes, the anorexic mudblood ). She even dropped her popcorn can on the stage ( which, ahem, happened to be the “award” ). How embarrassing for someone like her. Like, she hadn’t embarrassed herself already after the pathetic thanking speech. She said “awesome” like, 3 times in a sentence! Disgrace to the teenage slang.
Ben Stiller is not the greatest comedian of all times. Why all the hype around him? I did not enjoy Night at the Museum one bit. Now, I hear, they’re making a sequel to that movie! (O_o) But I’m glad Jim Carey won.
MTV 2009 Awards was dominated by Disney and Twilight stars. Major crisis in the movie and music industry!! To top it all, Kings of Leon, Eminem’s performance! #fail #mtvfail #end

And yeah, really whats that much of a hype abt twilight.
It OK. But is it really that good???
And yeah Night @ the museum is the most silliest movies ever imagined but looking @ all the hype the star and the movie gets-
only one thought comes to mind-
Yaar, After all hollywood too is an advertising company that needs to publize even the shit it comes up with to stay afloat in the market.

I’ve never been a fan of MTV. Liked Channel V better. Too bad Twilight won over Dark Knight, I will tell you why! People who didn’t understand Dark Knight would just see it as a Random superhero action movie. Only the few who understand it can really get what Chris Nolan scripted!

There isn’t anything worth watching on MTV india wither.. except roadies which is also written by teens.. as evident from the constant desire to humiliate others and show attitude..

You hate The Ellen show and Night at the Museum? lol!! Loads of people love those two!!(me included) but then i agree with you 1000% about twilight and Zac Efron….and everything else…lol!! nice post!!

No, Twilight- the movie is NOT good. Its horrible.
Dinesh Babu – Channel V does not play the fool. They stick to their thing and that is of song playing. I think thats why a lot of people prefer the simple channel over MTV.
There is another reason why Twilight won over Dark Knight. Thats because 97% of those who take part in voting are brainless teenage girls who fall for Robert Pattinson.
